My name is Shonna Marie Hancock I’m a tenant at Conrad Villas for about 10yrs now I’m having problems with another tenant who lives above me that has and is causing my evictions. I’ve never had issues with other tenants I keep to myself the first incident was about me one night which isn’t like me at all I don’t remember much other then the fact I accidently took a hammer and lightly damaged a golden SUV headlight. The tenant and her twin boys were watching me or stalking me cause they leave there window wide open and they ran down the stairs thinking I damaged her silver Honda which is parked further away from the other car. It was never investigated by the local police station where I live in Spring Valley, CA and the other tenant lied saying I hit her car which I didn’t. I’m dealing with Progress management Company that owns Conrad Villas Apartments. The other tenant lied and said there were witnesses that I was doing it to other cars and that is a lie. I am disabled and walk with a walker plus it was never a crime and Progress management are not responsible for the tenants cars. I got a eviction but I went to legal aid and I had to sign something that I had to behave and I also had my doctor write a note saying something about my disability which or something. If there was never a crime why should I plea guilty to something that I don’t do? Another incident is about I wrote a note on her car without my signature and it was to inform her about if she wasn’t follow rules I would call the cops on her for causing a disturbance for her and her twin boys for always slamming there doors and blaring the music early in the morning when other tenants are asleep. I’m not the only tenant who has complained about her to the office manager who isn’t taking my side inconsideration and believing the tenant who is the one causing my evictions and lying saying that I made racist comments to her and her twin boys which is a lie. I don’t talk to the other tenant and I was raised better then that. She is the one who is getting me into trouble and the office manager isn’t listening to my side of the story. I have two witnesses on my behalf that will testify in court if necessary to take Progress Management to court for wrongful eviction that I feel they are doing to me. The tenant who is causing my evictions and her two sons won’t stop slamming there doors and stop blaring there music. They know it bothers me and the other tenant on my behalf we have tried complaining to the office manager and talking to her but they still do it on purpose. What should I do about this? Do you think I’m being wrongfully evicted somehow? I want this to go to court and let a judge decide the verdict I feel that I’m being done wrong here and probably deserve money owed.
