my son is trying to join the military and he has a class 3rd degree felony that he should not have. the county attorney in that county of his conviction stated that he would reduce or remove conviction if i filled out a form and submitted to court. i have acquired a 402 form but it is only asking for reduction of 2 degrees of conviction. the original charges were placed on juvenile by parent lying to get juvenile in detention. police knew parent and took word of parent instead of investigating the evidence. the county attorney is now aware of this, but has asked for a form submitted. what form do i submit to the court to have the conviction gone forever (not just expunged, but gone)
