Pepsi helps cheer squads

Throughout the month of February, Pepsi is running a contest called the Pepsi Refresh Grant.  The top ten programs that gather the most votes by February 28, 2010 will receive $25,000.00.  One of our AsktheJudge Rock Stars is competing in the competition.

Take a look at our post titled “Cheerleaders Extraordinaire – Iowa’s Spartan Sparkles.”  It describes the high school program that includes students with disabilities on the cheer squads. Spartan Sparkles will use their winnings in Pepsi’s contest to generate more cheerleading squads across the nation.

Judge Tom is the founder and moderator of AsktheJudge.info. He is a retired juvenile judge and spent 23 years on the bench.
