Most schools have zero-tolerance policies regarding drugs and weapons on or near campus. City and state laws may also apply. So, getting expelled for a pipe at school isn’t surprising. What’s surprising here is the principal’s advice to hide it off-campus. Your age doesn’t make any difference except that a criminal charge for possessing drug paraphernalia may land you in adult court rather than juvenile court.
