I just wanted to know when i am legally allowed to drop out of school. I was born in Oct. of 96. I’m currently in 11th grade, failing every class, and frequently missing school. i want to drop out by the end of the year. My parents told me they would drop me out when i’m eligible. When would that be? Oh yea, i live in Suffolk County, NY. ALSO, i would like to know when i can take my GED or enroll in GED courses. I’m pretty confident i can pass that test. Thank you.
