My mother wrote a trust many years ago with attorney A, which has been amended several times. In between those times, she went to attorney B and created a new trust, but did not tell attorney A. She returned to attorney A and continued making periodic amendments, but because the attorney A did not know about the 2nd trust that attorney B created, he made those amendments to the first trust. My mother meant for her final amendment to the first trust to be the one we follow, but now I am told that the 2nd trust is in play – a lot changed after that 2nd trust. How can we go back to the first trust with the amendments – there were 2 amendments to the 1st trust that were written after the 2nd trust was written. Neither she nor I knew that when she made the final amendment that it did not apply because of the 2nd trust.

Thanks!
