I am 17 and I wish to become an emancipated minor. I have researched the guidelines in which to become an emancipated minor, but I can’t seem to find an answer to my question anywhere in the internet. I have a large sum of money in the bank waiting for me that cannot be touched until I turn eighteen. This money is from a lawsuit when I was much younger. I want to know if becoming emancipated will allow me access to this money, and if so would a judge allow me to this money? Hopefully you can answer me question as soon as possible.
