i live in Florida, me and my boyfriend got in to an argument in my house and i started to hurt myself on purpuse. i ran to a neighboors house and stated i was scared for my life, she called the police. when the officers arrived i made a complete false statement blaming my wounds on him. the police broke inside my house without my permission to get him out and got him arrested. i had stated that he slammed a mirror on me and cut my hand. he never hurt me, the police are charging him with battery and possesion of weapon . that i believe it was the mirror. im gping to drop the charges and also speak to the prosecutor tp let them know what really happen, i sent out a letter to the judge stating the truth. he is a convicted felon and im afraid that because of this they will go on with the case, i would like to know what can i do to desolve and resolve this case. is it worth sending a letter to the judge?
