Assuming you are under 18 and still a minor, you could get in trouble if you ran away, your parents reported you and the police picked you up. However, if you were able to sit down with your parents and have a calm conversation about how you feel and why you would like to move out, you could make the move if they gave you permission. Maybe if they realized that you are unhappy living at home, they will either let you live with another adult they trust or make an effort to change some of their ways to make your life better at home. Finally, check out our recent interview with Josh Shipp, a teen behavior specialist who had a very rough childhood including abuse, multiple foster homes and more. Watch the inspiring video at the end about dealing with parents when the conditions are bad or difficult in any way. Good luck.
