My fiancé and I live together in an apartment. Her name is on the lease as well as all of the other bills, however, she currently has no income and I am having to pay all of the bills which I don’t mind. But when we got into a fight the other day which resulted in the police coming out. They told me I had to leave for the evening, and also said she has the right to call police on me for trespassing given that I return and she doesn’t want me there. Is that legal? It was a verbal agreement/ contract we had and meanwhile I’m paying for evrything so is it legal for me to be evicted like that all of the sudden?
