Hi, I im 16, almost 17 living in Kansas and I really want to get out of the house. If I leave when I’m 17 I heard that the cops (if my parents call them) won’t really do anything because I would be 17. Is this true? I would still have my job and everything I just don’t want to stay where I am at right now. I have thought about emancipation but my parents wouldn’t be okay with it so that unlikely would happen.
