Hi, my name is Netanya. I am 17 and 1/2 and 14 weeks pregnant. I was just recently in foster care for only two months due to my dad wanting to move to Michigan and me not wanting to. Well, my dad got me back because while I was in foster care I was at risk because of all the stress. In court my mother had brought up me getting married in hopes she could get me back even thought she can’t. The judge then said I am not allowed to get married and on the court order it says that my parents and my fiances parents can’t give consent. My dad was completely on board with us getting married. They also threatened that if I were to get married or try they’d send me to a group home four hours away or if I got away with it they’d take my child from me from the hospital. I have never been in trouble nor has my fiance who turns 18 this month. We live in the state of Kentucky. Can they take away this right from me?????
