My sister is 17 and 6 months pregnant. She currently lives in Oklahoma, and her living environment is not in the least sanitary. There’s a lot of verbal abuse (no physical, to her), and she’s planning on leaving home. She’s only 4 months to 18, and I wish she would reconsider. But, she won’t. I need to know the likelihood of the police taking her back home. I know that if they force her back, things will be much, much worse. She’s not getting the right prenatal care, because my father refuses to take her to pick up her vitamins or take her to appointments (she also has a few medical issues that could be harmful to the baby, so she really needs to go to her appts). She’d be living with her boyfriend’s mom, which would be MUCH safer. But, would the police likely make her go back??
