Hello Judge,
If a Contractor does a job wrong, and not to city code, did not go to building dept to apply for a permit, and will not come back to fix/bring the job up to code, What type of court action can I take against the contractor?
I did pay him, but he claims that he did what the contractor told him to do.
He is a licensed contractor, so isn’t he supposed to know to check the codes and do the job right.
What funds can I ask for since the job was not done right?
Please help
Ms Jean
