My now 13 year old son is being recommended for expulsion and is under investigation by the local police department. This incident involves several kids. Once of the girls who is 2 years older than the boys has told lies about my son touching her, and demanding underwear pics. While he has volunteered information, including incriminating evidence, and met with the detective and gave him a log of all inappropriate pics taken and received. the older girl in HS, is telling lies so that she doesn’t get into too much more trouble with her parents. I have redacted witness statements, this is how we know about the fabrications. I have emailed the detective to see if he can help get her to tell the truth. But she is acting like the boys have intimidated her, called her names (said that he called her, but he never has which is confirmable). But what can we do to get the truth out of her? I get why she is scared, but her lies are going to mess up his life and others. Thank you so much for your time and help.
