I dont even know where to start… So today is my 18th birthday and i went to go take my written test for my license because i was planning on purchasing my first car and come to find there has been a hold or suspenion on my license (dont really know) but it was from a citation (shoplifting a video game = $35) from when i was 11 years old, i was in. Shock. Seeing myself now i couldnt even recall the event. So the clerk said we need to get that taken care of as well as paying a re-estate fee for my license. On top of that when we called the court they said i owe fines about $269 which accumulated from a late fee, A still active warrant issued when i was 12 years old, and some other things i dont get. But it seems like the balance of it was $50 before all that happened, the warrant for a 12 year old… And now idk what to do so i guess my question is do i have to pay tye re-instantment fee for a license i never had? Can and why do they issue a warrant for a child? Can i get this all dropped? And i forgot to mention i live in colorado thanks for the help in advance
