Recently i was accosted in a Giant Eagle Market District store in Columbus Ohio,buy a loss prevention person,who accused me of not payin for a slice of pizza from the deli,,he came up behind me in the eating area,and asked for a receipt,,i had mistakenly tossed it a few minutes earlier in the trash,i told him that,,but that only made him more confrontational,,and said it was not on his record of the check station,,he called me a liar..i also used my Giant Eagle advantage card which keeps a log of everything i buy,,he refused to scan my card,,at that point he had me go with him to an small office where he proceeded to threatin me verbally,,with calling the police,,,and that if i did not sign a No tresspass form he would have me arrested,,,he was quite threatening,,i feared at one point of him using force,,another guy was in this office also…he constantly would not let me talk or explain,,i have had Giant Eagle run a purchase log on my card and it shows that i did pay for it,,,now im banned from GE,,,what are my options…John ,,,,,how binding are Trespass laws in Ohio?..
