My son was put in the diversion program in Nebraska in Nov 2015. He is a honor freshman college student at a major university. His roommate was smoking pot in the room and police searched the room and my son had Adderall in his drawer( he says he never used it another college student told him to take them he might need them for finals). Anyway he was arrested and he did what he needed to do to get in the diversion program. He has never been in trouble before, always a honor student and in sports. He has completed all the required counseling, community service for the court and the college, and as also paid the 600.00 for the program..We live almost 3 hours from his college and the town where this took place and with summer approaching and after finding out that our county will not do the drug testing and that the hospital will for 150.00 a time…..they call him in about once a week and his summer job , what would be the possability of getting his program cut short( it was to be a year)?
