Last Tuesday there was an incident between my fiancé and myself at our apartment. He is currently on parole for a drug related offense. I am not on parole, was never on any kind of drug, and I was never involved with the law before. The incident was that I was mad at him and I did a stupid thing and I sent some text messages to his parole officer implying that he was abusive even though he is not. He is not a violent person and has been involved with the criminal system for some time now and has no crimes related to violence. Even though I keep explaining to his parole officer that I did not mean anything in those text messages and that they were lies he is not allowing us to have any contact anymore. I was wondering what I could do in this situation.
