My son was handed a helmet to practice football. A couple of weeks later, a varsity player took noticed of the helmet but my son refused to trade. The varsity player then asked a coach to unlock my son’s locker to take his helmet while he was not there. Is this legal? There was no shortage of helmets. My son was not on probation nor faced disciplinary prior to or after this event. I am in the state of Texas, Fort Bend ISD district.
