My friend and I were at a college campus after hours sitting in my car because I needed comforting after a rough day. I didn’t want to go home because I didn’t want my parents to know I was upset so we went there. As we were leaving, we saw a cop. I didn’t know if he had been sitting there watching or just turned the corner but he never pulled us over. We weren’t doing anything bad, not violating school property or anything, just sitting in our cars. Is it possible for him to ticket us without question? If so, for trespassing even though we weren’t doing anything wrong?
