Sir, I recently had a meeting with a Roofing Contractor about starting work on my damaged roof. The Roofing Contractor requested 3500.00 for the job and demanded $1500.00 to start. The next day the Roofing Contractor Foreman team had work about 6 hours and stated that I needed a contract before they started the work. The Roofing Foreman demand $1500.00 and the foreman demand the money which I gave them. I told the Roofing Foreman I needed a contract and was told they will bring the contact the next day. The next day the contractor never showed up. It has been six weeks later the roofing Contractor never was back to finish the roof .The Roofing Contractor owner said that I validated the contact for talking to his workers for which I never did? I never seen the contact or signed it. The Roofing Contractor said that my signature was on the Contract that I never seen. Can I sue the Contractor for forgery and not finishing the job.
