I gout caught shoplifting by the cosmetic shop security. I had taken stuff to the value of 90pounds. The security guys took me on a side and ask some questions. I said my name surname and other details and I was begging them not to call police. They seem they don’t want to do that and they didn’t. I beg them I am a normal person working full time and I just wanted to make extra money. Then one guy left and I was still convincing the second one to not call the police. He said he will refer that to store menager. I said I will pay for everything I stole and ask to not pass this message to my employer. When menager of shop called (he was to busy to come in) the secuity guy said that I want to pay and I promised it wont happened anymore. He just took all my details – name surname the place I work in and my adress. I paid for everything and I did small signature in his notebook that I paid for that. He didnt call police, allowed me to go and ask me to not do it again. Also he made a picture of me to ban me for this shop. He said to me that he is not going to take a fine because then I should pay something about 320pounds.

Now I am just wondering if he is able to pass that to police? Was my only consequences in this case to be so embarassed and paid for everything I stole? I would appreciate a reply
