14-year-old arrested for texting in class!!

PreviousNext

Last week at Wauwatosa East High School in Wisconsin, a 14-year-old girl was texting during her math class. When asked several times by her teacher to stop, she refused and continued her texts. The school resource officer was called and the girl denied having a phone. A search by a female officer revealed the phone in her pants.

Due to the disruption she caused in class, her continued use of the phone and lying about it when confronted, she was cited for disorderly conduct. She was arrested and her parents had to post bail for the amount of the fine, $298.00. She was also suspended from school for a week and given a court date.

Her father was quoted saying his daughter crossed the line, and that the school officials made the right call.
